Enabling two-factor authentication

Protect your RMDHost client area account with a time-based one-time password app.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step to login, so a stolen password alone is not enough to access your account.

Turn on 2FA

  1. Log in to the client area.
  2. Open Account → Security Settings.
  3. Select Enable Two-Factor Authentication and choose the authenticator option.
  4. Scan the QR code with an app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password, then enter the 6-digit code.
  5. Store the backup code somewhere safe.

Lost your device?

Use your backup code to sign in. If you no longer have it, contact support – we will verify your identity before disabling 2FA.
